• Songs, or Mixtapes and remixes must have been released between February 1st 2010 – January 10th 2011
• Song must be an actual released single (i.e. no album cuts are eligible) to radio or available for purchase
• Only one submission is eligible per artist (does not include features)
• Song(s) must fit into the traditional genre per category
• Submitted Mixtapes must include full artwork and tracklisting
• Artist Mixtape submissions are eligible to only one DJ/Artist collaboration
• “Tribute” (aka “Best of”) mixtapes are NOT eligible for Artist Mixtape of the Year
• White labels and Bootlegs are NOT eligible for DJ Remix of the Year

Canadian Producer of the Year category will be presented to the best Canadian Produced single. To be eligible for this category:

• Song can be performed by a Canadian or International artist but MUST feature a Canadian producer and/or beat.
• The song must be a released single and have received radio airplay. Album cuts not released as singles are NOT eligible
• Producer in this category is defined as a person who a) worked with the artist to create a song and was present in the studio for the recording session or b) provided a pre-produced instrumental track for an artist to record his/her vocals over the track.

Who’s Got Next? Award is a chance to be featured on the “Who’s Got Next?” CD Compilation.  The top 15 entries selected will receive copies of the CD, a spotlight on HipHopCanada.com, and mention on the Stylus Group website. 

• Song(s) must fit into the traditional urban music genres ie. R&B, Reggae, Soca, and Hip Hop/Rap
• Artists must submit one (1) song and EPK through Sonicbids at www.sonicbids.com/WhosGotNext2011
• This promotion is open to all artists, EXCEPT artists who are signed directly to a major label
